Jared Avery, CSI-CDT

Jared began his career with One Source Associates in 2006 as the Account Manager for Wiremold. As the son of Ken Avery, who served in various purchasing roles within electrical distribution—most recently as VP of Purchasing and Vendor Relations with Capital Electric Supply, before retiring in 2020—Jared elected to follow in his father's footsteps. In the 15 years since the start of his career in the electrical industry, Jared moved into his current position as Inside Sales Manager of the Construction Group, earned his Construction Documents Technologist (CSI-CDT) certificate from the Construction Specification Institute, and graduated from the NEMRA Executive Development Program.

Jared and his team provide sales support and technical assistance to One Source's distributor, contractor, and end user partners. They coordinate, quote, and track project requests through stages of design, bid, buy, and installation. On large projects, they collaborate with the outside sales team and other departments within the agency to identify competition, leverage key relationships and specifications, and develop a strategic “go to market” approach. One Source's people, manufacturers, and partners within the channel are the keys to the agency's success.

Born in the Baltimore, MD area where he's lived the entirety of his life, Jared now resides in Harford County with his wife, Danielle, and daughter, Austin. The Averys love spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, trying new restaurants, and traveling.
