This position is responsible for order entry and management through the life cycle of an order. It requires a professional, reliable, and self-motivated individual with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work with a high level of accuracy.

In this challenging, high-powered, multi-tasking role, you will need to review and interpret engineered electrical drawings to provide customers with accurate bills of material and pricing related to lighting controls manufacturers represented by One Source Associates (OSA). The position requires extensive people skills and the ability to work as part of a team. The successful candidate should know or be willing to learn the technical nature of the products we represent and to understand the competitive nature of the bidding environment. Using this information, the effective employee will close projects with distributors and manage them through the complete project life cycle. The candidate will receive on-the-job training in the product lines and software used to carry out the position’s requirements while adhering to the company’s Mission Statement and Values. At least 2 years’ experience in engineering, construction, estimating, or Project Management background is required. College education preferred, but not required.
This full-time in office position provides administrative and logistical support to the outside sales team. Candidate must be reliable, professional, analytical, organized and focused on delivering exceptional and timely results. On the job training provided for the products and software to be used.

In this challenging, high-powered, multi-tasking role, you will need to: Actively promote the company’s lighting, lighting control, and window systems product offerings throughout the electrical channel, including owners, developers, owner’s representatives, key end-users, electrical distributors, and contractors.
Key Responsibilities include:
Promote Product Offerings: Actively promote the core lighting brands to Electrical Engineers, Electrical Distributors, Contractors and strategic End-users (such as K-12, colleges and universities). Focus customers will include:
Small/medium size electrical engineering firms with the goal of creating repeated specifications of lighting and controls from Current Lighting.
Design/build contractors and electrical distributors for the purpose of promoting quick ship and stocking opportunities.
Customer Engagement: Develop and maintain customer relationships through in-person sales calls (minimum 60% of time is customer-facing), client entertainment such as meals, happy hours, and factory trips.
Product Demonstration: Demonstrate products weekly using sales samples, product brochures, and technological aids. Each sales call should feature a product or new technology.
Collaboration: Work closely with inside sales teams to develop bid strategies, assist with product selection, and facilitate submittal approvals. Collaborate with fellow salespeople to coordinate construction documents.
Design/Build: Act as a resource for customers who require assistance in product selection, lighting layouts and controls system designs.
Training and Development: Participate in a minimum of three customer factory trips or local trainings throughout the calendar year.
Joint Sales Calls: Support factory representatives with targeted joint sales calls, with a minimum of four per day.
