This full-time Specification Sales - Architectural Lighting & Controls (or Controls-Focused Specialist) role involves building strong relationships with the specification community (architects, engineers, lighting designers) to promote and sell our range of lighting and control products. This role is responsible for driving customer excellence for the projects awarded by Electrical Distributors to our Agency. In this role, you will review and manage Lighting projects from award through product shipment. You will be responsible for assisting the Electrical Distributor and Contractor to deliver the products as approved and on time to the project owner. You will work closely with the inside quotations group, customer service group and factories as needed to address any product needs and/or customer concerns. The below abilities/skills are required for you to perform this role successfully.
Responsibilities:
Reviews project documentation including Construction Documents, Specifications and Factory Shop Drawings.
Confirm Shop drawing information for accuracy for run length and emergency wiring information.
Manages project submittals and correspondence.
Respond to comments which may include updating or confirming selections/options on the quote and/or order.
Responsible for reviewing/comparing part numbers on Orders and Submittals for accuracy and compliance with approval comments.
Provides exceptional customer service, responding to all customer issues or problems in a timely and effective manner.
Communicates with Inside Sales teams (Quotes and Customer Service) and Outside Sales team (Distributor Sales and Specification Sales) as needed to ensure project concerns and shipment needs are addressed as needed.
