Smoke Alarm Laws Are Changing

Friday, October 25, 2019

The new UL Standard requires smoke alarms to distinguish between three types of fire. Kidde is the first manufacturer to meet new UL requirements for smoke sensor technology with new TruSense technology, which detects threatening smoldering and flaming polyurethane fires faster and reduces common nuisance alarms. Kidde's new TruSense sensors enhance the protection of people and property by minimizing nuisance alarms and providing residents with more time to react.

Don't get stuck with alarms that will not pass new UL217 fire tests. Get your Kidde TruSense alarms now!
